hi tyagi..its best to directly reach out to clients instead of waiting on such platforms to get contracts..on fiverr, ppl hire the cheapest option possible..upwork is much better in my opinion.also it depends on your niche..getting that initial traction with clients is really hard..its just a game of numbers..the more ppl you reach out to actively..the more chances you have of landing contracts..first step would be to get a solid portfolio of your work done.

if you are not having success on marketplaces such as upwork see if you can find the name of companies posting such jobs...reach out to them directly via their email or social media and tell them that you saw their job postings and you provide the same service and prove you can do a better job..

if you cater to individuals just reach out to them and tell how you can be of service..tell them how your service can make their business better and pitch your service..if you reach out to 100 i am sure you will land atleast 2..use them as leverage to get more clients..there is no short cut to this path..unless you become a content creator and create really good content in your niche..then clients may reach out to you..
