Hi Julia..thanks for reading..product and website should be the last step...my suggestion would be to start where your target audience hangs out..focus on two platforms..among twitter, LinkedIn or medium..because distribution is taken care by them..and it is key when starting out...just share what you are learning and put out content consistently for atleast 6 months...don't worry about monetization at this stage..you will attract audience who have similar interests..talk to them..respond to comments..DM people who follow you and ask what struggles are they facing in your niche and how you can be of help..over time you will have a huge repository of real questions and problems faced by people in your niche..only after this you can develop an idea for a product that customers really want...then set up a website and give away a part of your product as a freebie which serves as a lead magnet to build your email list..ask feedback from your email list..nurture it with more content about what people ask..this entire process will take 6 months to 1 year..but at the end you will have a banger product that your audience actually wants and will pay for.. most products that makes 6 figures a year are developed this way...there are no shortcuts..most people rush this process and try to sell a product too soon and end up with no sales and wasted time and resources..
