Hi Edward, since you and Alan seem to have the same concern about me not being an expert I am posting the same response I made to Alan here..I have been on Medium since 2018..i deleted my profile late 2020 and came back this year..when you spend enough time on a platform you find patterns of what works and what doesn't..you don't need to be a Medium "expert"..there is no qualifying certificate here..I didn't pull my opinion out of thin air...you can go to any short form publication and add "/latest" to the homepage URL see the views of articles..go back even for a week..you will hardly find claps that exceed 100..most articles that would have done well would be about medium or earnings or writing. or rant..they are "engagement baits"..only such engagement baits seem to perform well on short form pubs...other type of articles doesn't seem to do well..so write engagements baits for short form pubs and publish your other short articles on your own pub so that your articles get more real estate to stay on top when people click on your profile..anyway if you can find actual counter points to what I mentioned, instead of just throwing shade, I would be glad to be proven wrong ..cheers.
